We started our transportation company after visiting the Yucactan Peninsula for several years. We saw the little vans whipping everybody around and thought, “We should do that in Asheville.”
For several years you could find us running around town in our Mercedes Metris. Then hurricane Helene flooded the area. It wiped out many homes and business. Tourism ground to a halt. After several months of piecing together income working as an inspector for FEMA and Buncombe County, Kevin was offered a position in his former profession which was too good to pass up.
We love the business and decided to continue on in a reduced capacity.
We still travel to the Yucatan Peninsula regularly mainly for Kevin to pursue his cave diving passion. The area is the inspiration for our name. Nah is mayan for house.
